ARTIST STATEMENT
Inspired by the free approach to art, my work (with both abstracts and pop art) consists in creating atmospheres that allow the viewer to give free rein to his or her imagination. Personally, I seek to stimulate the individual's emotional sensibility by means of immersive techniques, or at least those intended to be so.
I like to compose sensory and visual universes, blending my photomontage creations with paint to give them life and texture (the better to bring illusion and reality together). The photomontage technique fascinates me just as much as the abstract technique, which allows me to escape. Escape, which plays a key role in my creative process, is a quest to awaken the senses that I wish to convey to those who view my work.
In my artistic work, there is no pre-study or foundation, only pleasure and the blossoming of feelings in front of the canvas or empty support that gradually takes shape. Each of the elements that make up my work is interrelated in the manner of a network of connections and associations of ideas.
