Gio is a versatile oil painter based in Vancouver, British Columbia. She is a self-taught artist who has explored various disciplines, from fashion and interior design to crafting handmade items and fine art. After graduating from the University of the Fraser Valley in 2014 with a degree in graphic design, Gio’s captivating creations transport viewers to dream-like worlds, encouraging them to uncover their hidden realms.
Guided by her inner visions and insights, her visionary style delves into otherworldly realms infused with dark romanticism and symbolism. By blending her inspirations and experiences, she awakens the senses, prompting contemplation on how our perceptions impact our souls when we look beyond the surface.
Exclusively using oils, Gio utilizes multiple layers of intricate detail and texture to evoke an intimate, dream-like response in her artwork.
