ARTIST STATEMENT

My photography delves into the complexities of human emotions and their profound impact on individuals and society. I am particularly drawn to women’s stories, capturing the strength and vulnerability woven into their experiences. Each image becomes a visual narrative, offering a glimpse into hidden layers of their lives.

Emotions have the power to connect, divide, or transform. Through my work, I seek to give these emotions a voice, encouraging introspection and validation of our shared human experiences. By blending light, composition, and mood, I create images that resonate deeply, inviting viewers to reflect on their own emotions and their effect on others.

Inspired by artists like Frida Kahlo and Artemisia Gentileschi, my creative process involves hand-painted backdrops, carefully crafted lighting, and meticulous post-production. I devote significant time to refining each image, ensuring it conveys the intended depth and emotion. Ultimately, my goal is to tell timeless stories that evoke empathy and understanding, transcending cultural and temporal boundaries.
